Baptism
baptism

Baptism is the sacramental initiation into the Catholic faith, and Deacon Jim Mackin begins the process with you and your child. The Sacrament of Baptism is such a special time for family to come together and announce their faith in God and in the Catholic Church. The newest member of our Parish family is welcomed fully after this, the first Sacrament of our faith.

Faith Formation
peace

We provide opportunities for both children and adults to grow in their knowledge of God and of the Catholic Faith.  We help to prepare students for the celebration of the sacraments and to build a relationship with Jesus Christ through the Gospel message and worship.   Through gospel reflection and discussion, students learn that we are all created out of love, which fosters a healthy sense of worth.  We strive to nurture the call to live out our Baptismal promises that we serve one another in love.  We seek to involve the entire family in this formation, as the family is the domestic church and are the first teachers of the faith.

412Youth
life teen logo

Following the guide of Life Teen, the newly named 412Youth aims to strengthen our Middle school, High school and college students’, and our young adults’ Catholic identity, while rooting them firmly in Christ and in His Church. Our goal is to excite the Youth to be “on fire” for their faith and bring them closer to God, through their actions with mission trips, through their words with Bible study, and through their Faith with an understanding of what it means to be a Catholic.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
rcia2

We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group setting to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and traditions of our Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. The process is a formation which requires time, insight, questions, and the sharing of your faith story. Our setting is warm and accepting to all.
